These white strings will leave your opponent on ice.
Iga Swiatek has a game like no other. Wait. Yes she does. She’s a huge fan of Rafa and modeled her entire game after his… she swings BIG on EVERY ball. She plays with a string called, Razor Code but it’s a polyester. And…. polyester is famous for it’s short lifespan. And if you’ve ever played with polyester, you probably hate it when they bag out in the middle of a match. So I set out to create a hybrid that gives you as much as Iga leaves on the court. And for the entire match.
In the mains I’ve put the stiffest nylon I’ve ever tested. It really simulates the lower powered nature of polyester. But because it’s nylon, it doesn’t lose tension as quickly as polyester and gradually loses playability and doesn’t go south on you in the middle of a point.
In the crosses is Isospeed Cream (yes that’s the name of the string). It’s probably one of my favorite “soft” polyesters because it has about the stiffness of a “synthetic gut” out there AND holds tension extremely well (polyesters are famous for losing tension in just a few hours of play). Cream also works extremely well as a cross string. It’s the OG of “soft” polyesters in my opinion.
Even reversing the hybrid works extremely well as some people prefer the polyester in the mains. But it won’t be as powerful without the nylon in the mains
- string at the same tension as your polyester – mid to lower tension range
- maintains tension extremely well
- has more longevity than a full bed of polyester
- I have multiple variants of the white nylon- some with LOTS of power and some with medium power.
- first hit will be a little stiff but will stabilize by the 2nd
