Solinco is an American company that is making waves in NCAA collegiate and also professional tennis. The Solinco strings I’ve chosen are pretty darn amazing for spin, tension maintenance and longevity. Yes, it lasts just a little longer than normal poly (a few hours of play) which, I think, makes it pretty special. Plus these particular strings only loose about 25% of tension (normally poly loses 40-60% of their tension) which is unheard of for polys. And their edges (4 or 6 sided) more than satisfy the need to spin the ball.

I’ve chosen Hyper G 16L as it performed better than expected. It is a shaped poly so it has some edges to it to grip and spin the ball. I don’t know why it’s green but it is VERY distinct. I never choose a thick poly because why? This performs so incredibly well and it has the durability poly is famous for.

For the subscription, I hybrid this with a natural color synthetic gut.

For a softer, more comfortable feel, you can hybrid with natural or black PEEK in the crosses to give you a more gut-like comfort without losing ANY of the ability to spin the ball
